When we got back on the boat we showered and changed into all white for the boats "white" party. You were supposed to wear all white and they had a big dance party out by the pool. It was fun! Here is a group pic after that party:
Mykonos: 6/29/14
Today we were on the wild, party island of Mykonos, Greece! It took our boat a while to dock because there were 30 mph winds on the island. Blue sky but crazy winds!!!!! We knew we wanted to spend our day on paradise beach at the tropicana club, but we just needed to figure out how to get there. Mykonos only has about 10 taxis on the island so we ended up taking buses. On the bus we met another 2 couples from the boat, Leah and Steve are from Ohio, and Alex & Ang are from Melbourne, Australia. Both couples are on their honeymoon and they are both super fun! Alex lost his wedding ring in the water, and Kyle actually found it for him, woohoo! The guys were mainly playing in the water with a ball Garrett brought that bounces on the water. Kyle was [un]fortunate enough to have been stung by sea anemones on his arms. They were told not to go over this rock because of that reason but apparently no one relayed the message to Kyle and when he went after the ball that went that direction he got a nice stinging surprise. It looks like poison oak on his arms. They rubbed something on it that helped the stinging and hopefully it will be gone soon! Anyways, Tropicana Club is rated one of the best beach bars on the planet, and once it started picking up later in the afternoon I could definitely see why. It was a blast, and I was really disappointed when we had to have to leave for the boat. It was such a tease!! We ended up staying a while, and it made us really have to rush to get back. The way back to the boat was an adventure that left me picking thorns out of my feet, but it was all part of the fun in Mykonos!! Here are some pictures from the day:
